Summer at CETUSPRO isn't a time of downtime - it's when our team grows. Recruitment for summer internships has wrapped up, and the selected candidates are already working on real, commercial tasks under the guidance of mentors.
Summer is a great time to break into IT
At CETUSPRO, we have long prioritized individuals eager to learn through hands-on experience. Our internships and summer placements are part of the *Cetus Elevate* initiative-offering a genuine recruitment process, real tasks within commercial projects, and dedicated mentorship, rather than theory detached from reality.
The recruitment process consisted of two stages. The first involved an application form available on our social media channels and the *Cetus Elevate* website. Once applications closed, the number of interested candidates far exceeded our capacity; unable to provide adequate mentorship to everyone, we introduced a second stage: a five-day assignment involving the completion of a short project. This stage allowed us to assess practical skills and identify the highest-scoring candidates.
Based on the assignment results and participant competencies, we divided the group into three teams. Over the following four weeks, they worked independently-using Discord and their own resources-while meeting with us once a week for a status update. These meetings allowed us to provide feedback, assist with any issues, guide their next steps, and suggest improvements.
At the program's conclusion, all teams gathered to discuss their completed projects and share their experiences. Every participant received a certificate of completion, and those interested also received a summary of their work that could be included in their portfolios.
